This week's YouTube Tuesday comes from America's Got Talent. Some of you may have already seen this one the show, but those who haven't make sure to watch! The guy featured is a magician. His trick is disgustingly good. The best part though is at the end of his trick when he throws the floss on Howie Mandel. For those of you who don't know, Howie is an extreme germaphobe (sp). Sharon's reaction to Howie's reaction made me laugh so hard. I seriously rewound it when I was watching it the first time around because I found it so funny. Enjoy!!

My 5 Monday!!
This week's "My 5" is a little trip down memory lane. As you all know by my "Weekly Song Wednesday" posts, I love music. I have loved music since I was a little kid and there are certain songs I can remember playing and singing over and over again. Therefore, this weeks topic is:
"My 5 Favorite Songs When I Was a Kid"
1. "I'll Be There For You" by Bon Jovi
I've been told many times that when I was about four years old I would stand on top of my Little Tikes picnic table and sing this song. I am pretty sure I only knew the chorus, but at age four that's pretty good. What is also pretty good is that Bon Jovi is still selling out stadiums twenty years later. Guess I had good taste as a kid :)
2. "Like A Prayer" by Madonna
I remember my mom had the cassette of this and I used to replay it over and over when I was little. LOVED this song! Like Bon Jovi, Madonna has also remained a huge part of entertainment throughout the years. I wonder if the same will be said for some of these people that the kids love now a days.
3. "Nothing My Love Can't Fix" by Joey Lawrence.
Okay does anyone else remember this song?? I seriously remember getting Joey Lawrence's cassette for my 9th or 10th birthday. I used to LOVE him. I recall watching the episode of "Blossom" that they played this at the end of and I just fell in love with it. Joey Lawrence is still acting, but I guess he retired from his career as a singer. He is still pretty hot though!
4. "To Be With You" by Mr. Big
Just like the Joey Lawrence song, I remember getting Mr.Big's cassette for my 11th birthday. I still actually like this song a lot. So much so that it's even on my Ipod. I actually prefer 80's and 90's music since the music from today is so overplayed.
5. "Paradise City" by Guns and Roses
Well here is something random. I remember singing this song on my 5th birthday after getting my shots that I needed to start kindergarten that fall. Seriously. I remember that and I don't have the slightest idea why.
Well there ya have it. My 5 favorite songs from childhood. A strange list I know, but what can I say. What were some of your favs when you were a kid. Also does anyone else remember that Joey Lawrence song?!

Sick of Them Saturday!
Well this week's edition is actually pretty short. Not too many people really annoyed me this week. However, we do have a repeat offender this week!!!
1. Elin Nordegren (aka Tiger Woods' wife)
Apparently Elin and Tiger's divorce was finalized this week. Apparently she got a nice chunk of change in the sum of 100 million dollars. She tells her story to People mag this week and also graces the cover. $100 million is a pretty good chunk of change to get out of him. I don't think she will ever want for any material thing in her life. Kudos to Elin though for being respectful when discussing Tiger in the mag. She even wished him the best in his life and career. The mag also says that the couple are very pleasant around each other and their children which is good for the kids' sake. Elin does seem like a genuine person and she did get screwed over royally by her hubby, I am just sick of hearing about all of it. She said the People mag interview will be the last interview she does. Thank you Elin!
2. Lindsay Lohan
After serving 23 days in rehab, Lindsay was released. Did you all know that? If not you must not have looked at any tabloid mags, watched entertainment news shows, or subscribe to E! news text alerts. I do subscribe to the text alerts and E! felt the need to send me about 6 of them this week letting me know all about it. I am pretty sure one was even a BREAKING NEWS alert. I don't know if thats what I would consider a big deal, but apparently it is. I really hope this rehab stint worked for Lindsay, but somehow I doubt it!
Well there ya have it folks. I am only sick of two people this week. Kinda strange actually. Who or what are you sick of hearing about this week?

Follow Them Friday!!
Welcome to another edition of "Follow Them Friday". Before I get to this week's featured blogger, I wanted to mention a little change for next week. Next week the "Follow Them Friday" blog will be randomly selected. The reason for this is because I follow A LOT of blogs now and it takes me FOREVER to decide on just one to feature because there are so many good ones. Therefore, if YOU want to be selected for next week all you have to do is follow this weeks featured blog (feel free to check out the great ones from previous weeks also) and leave me a comment stating that you would like to have the chance to be featured next. Since I gain a good number of followers every week, previous featured bloggers of "Follow Them Friday" are more than welcome to request to be featured again.
Now onto this week's blog. The featured blogger of the week is Apryl and her blog Christian Clippers. If you are a frugal shopper like me you will love this blog. Each week Apryl features matchups from multiple stores showing you how to get the cheapest (and sometimes free) price for various items using coupons combined with sale prices. She also features links to coupons for restaurants, food, cleaning items, etc. I check this blog quite frequently so I can figure out how to get the things I need that week for the best price. If you are a cheap shopper like me, I promise you will love this site. So go ahead and click the button below and let her know that you are a new follower from "Follow Them Friday" @ It's All Random!

Weekly Song Wednesday!!
This week's song is also an older one, but I'm not sure how many of you have actually heard it before. I'm sure you have heard samples of it in Jay-Z's song "Young Forever" though. This week's song is "Forever Young" by Youth Group. I'm pretty sure this is a remake from another artist, but this is the version that I love. I first heard this song a few years ago on "The OC". Enjoy everyone!!

YouTube Tuesday!
Welcome all to another YouTube Tuesday!!! I REALLY like finding videos of ordinary people singing covers of their favorite songs. Some of these people are uber talented!! You never know, one of these people could be the next big thing. I hear YouTube is how a certain young singer (who shall remain nameless cuz I am sick of typing, hearing and seeing his name everywhere) was discovered. That all being said, this week's video is a cover of "Love The Way You Lie" by Eminem and Rhianna. These people are pretty good!! Check it out and let me know what you think!!

My 5 Monday!
Labor Day will be here in two short weeks!! Can you all believe it?!?! I can't! Before you know it we will be getting ready for Halloween and then Thanksgiving and Christmas will be following behind real quickly. That being said, this week's topic is:
"My 5 Favorite Things About Summer"
1. Detroit Tigers Baseball
I LOVE the Detroit Tigers. Absolutely love them. I generally will try to make it to at least one game during the summer. I missed last summer and haven't gone yet this year, but I still have a month left. Hopefully I will make it! My Tigers started out strong this season, but after the all star break they fell behind a lot. Still love them though and there's always next season!!
2. Bonfires
Who doesn't love a good bonfire. Sitting around the fire on a cool summer night with good drinks and great friends. LOVE IT. Gotta throw in some s'mores every now and then too of course :)
3. Swimming
Whether it is in a pool, lake, ocean or beach everyone has got to go swimming in the summer. I haven't gone down to the pool as much as I should have this summer, but I did go swimming in Lake Michigan, which is pictured above, this summer. I am pretty sure I could have spent all day in that water. LOVED those waves!!
4. Fireworks
Fireworks are always so beautiful. The place to go on the 4th of July where I live is Bay City. Actually Bay City has 3 days of fireworks on July 1, 2 and 3, but they always put on such a great show. I was lucky enough to make it out to the big 40 minute show on July 3 this year and they were very good. One of these years I want to make it to New York City to see their July 4th fireworks. Hopefully soon!!
5. "Up North" trips
Here in Michigan, the place to go for summer get aways is "up north". I honestly have no clue where "up north" actually starts, but everyone seems to head there in the summer. The "up north" place I go to is beautiful Higgins Lake (pictured above), with my bestie Becca. Becca's family has a cabin up there so we try to take a weekend trip up there every summer. It is so peaceful up there. Everytime it's time to go home I dread it. The last few times I have been there we have taken a trip to Traverse City to the casino. I never win anything, but it's always a good time. We of course have to hit the little ice cream shop before heading home too! It was too cold up there to go swimming this year, but hopefully next year we will be able to!
Well there you have it. My favorite things about the summer (in no particular order). What are you going to miss when summer ends??

Sick of Them Saturday!!
Time for another edition of "Sick of Them Saturday"! I am sick of hearing about Justin Beiber yet again this week, but don't worry, he won't be on the list for a third consecutive time!! Also, I featured "Jersey Shore" in my very first edition of this topic. I am saddened to say that I actually watched it and don't think it's as bad as I originally did. However, I am sick of hearing about all of them all the time as if they are real celebs so it still fits! Now onto this week's annoyances!!
1. Old Spice Guy
Ummm okay I seriously don't get the big deal about this guy. I can't say I have ever watched an entire commerical, but still. He seems to be the most popular person in a commercial right now. Sure he is good looking and apparently he is funny, but whats the big deal really? He is talked about on TV shows, radio and various websites all the time!! I don't even know the dude's real name! I just don't get it...
3. OMG by Usher
2. Potential American Idol judges
Well I honestly love this show, but if I didn't hear anything more about it for a couple weeks that would be okay with me. Simon quit the show after the end of last season so we all knew there would be a replacement found for him. Obviously Simon was the best judge on the show so replacing him is going to be hard. There have been all kinds of rumors about his potential replacement: Brett Michaels (I actually wouldn't mind him), Elton John (guess they wanna stick with having a British judge...seems to be a requirement. He at least knows about music so this one would make sense too), Justin Timberlake (ummm I think he is too big of a star right now, don't think he needs the show to help his career) and Steven Tyler (apparently HE IS THE replacement. I don't think I like this very much. I would've rather had Brett Micheals honestly). Not only did Simon leave, but Ellen quit after only one season. Can't say I'm too sad about that one. Rumor has it that Kara has been fired also. I am not a Kara fan AT ALL so I'm not too sad about this if it is true. Since Ellen quit and Kara may be out, they of course are looking for a female replacement also. Mariah Carey, Jennifer Lopez, Jessica Simpson, and Shania Twain have all been mentioned for this job. J-Lo apparently is NOT going to be the one, but who knows. I just wish they would announce them already! Oh yea, Randy apparently has one more year on his contract so looks like he and Ryan are the only ones back for sure next season.
I wasn't a fan of this song when I first heard it. Then after about 25 times I liked it. Heard it some more and loved it. Now it is way too overplayed and I am starting to hate it again. Go a little easy on the OMG Mr. DJ!! You are making people cringe everytime they hear it now!
4. Brett Favre
Okay let me see if I can get this correct. Favre played for the Green Bay Packers then retired. Then after a month or so of retirement, joined with the New York Jets. After playing with the Jets he retired AGAIN and then a short time later joined the Minnesota Vikings. I thought he retired after this previous football season, but I hear constantly lately that he may or may not be back. I think last I heard he WAS back again witht he Vikings. Seriously Brett, I know you are a great QB and heck you are even nice to look at, but please make up your fricking mind!!!
Well my lovely readers, that is what I am sick of hearing about this week! What about you???

My 5 Monday!!
So I'm not going to lie. This "my 5" thing is getting harder to think of topics for. I think I'm just having a brain freeze at the moment though. Jess really helped me after reading her post from Saturday though. Thanks Jess, I'm basically stealing your idea...hope you don't mind!! So, that being said, this week's topic is:
"My 5 'Celebrity' Crushes"
1. Justin Verlander/ Rick Porcello
1. Justin Verlander/ Rick Porcello
Yes I know I cheated by picking two people for my first pick, but they both play for the Detroit Tigers, so therefore I am counting them as a unit :). I became a HUGE Verlander fan way back in 06 and Porcello joined the team in 09, thus that is when I started liking him. Not only are they good looking, they are also two of the best pitchers Detroit has. Porcello is having kinda a rough season, but I'm sure next year he will be back to the amazing pitcher he was his rookie year.
2. Justin Timberlake
Well is there any question why he is one of my 5? Just take a look at that face and stomach and you will see why. He is also amazingly talented and have you seen him on SNL? HILARIOUS!!
3. Ryan Reynolds
I have loved this guy since he was on "Two Guys, A Girl, and A Pizza Place". Does anyone remember that show? I LOVED IT!! Well since the show got cancelled, Ryan has gone on to become an A-list movie actor. He's pretty cute too boot too! BTW, I would SO buy that show if it ever comes out on DVD!!!
4. Dane Cook
I love that all of these lovely shirtless guys have six-packs! Sorry if all the shirtless pics offend anyone, but it is a way to make this Monday just a little better, isnt' it? So as I have stated previously I LOVE Dane Cook. I think he is HILARIOUS! So hilarious that I actually own all of his Cd's, comedy specials, and movies. He may not be the funniest of the comedians out there (in other people's opinions), but can you really argue that he isn't one of the hottest!!
5. Josh Harris
Well I have previously blogged about my love for "Deadliest Catch" and Josh Harris is definitely one of my reasons for liking that show so much. Josh is a deckhand on one of the boats featured on the show and also the son of the late Captain Phil Harris. After watching how Josh was during his dad's illness and during his dad's last days, Josh seems like such a sweetheart and incredibly responsible. I think he's pretty adorable too, big ears and all!
So my lovely readers, who are some of your celebrity crushes??
